When you move into your community you are therefore agreeing to the laws enforced by the homeowners association. This means that you have to pay. You are stuck with the HOA when you buy a home, but that does not mean that you have to ignore it. Learn about the HOA in the community you are interested in and see if their rules are fair to you and the way you want to live your life. Sometimes the best way of dealing with things is by finding those who are best suited for what you are trying to do. This is all part of the home buying process, so make sure that you pay attention to it early on in your life.
